Originally manufactured here in Australia by Chrysler this tidy VC Valiant Sedan is a great weekend cruiser big enough for the whole family to fit in.
This Valiant presents very well from the exterior with minimal signs of age in the Alpine White paint. Chrome trim is in great condition all round and is still sporting all of its Valiant badges and decals. The original wheels with chrome hubcaps and white walls all round finish off the ‘classic look’ of this Valiant.
Open the door and you are greeted by the 60’s with the only thing out of place being the aftermarket head unit. The original brown leather seats are beautiful and in excellent condition all round with extremely minimal signs of wear and tear, the dash is also original and is in comparable condition to that of the upholstery. The carpets have been replaced as well as the headliner making the interior one of the highlights of this vehicle.
Under the hood you’ll find a very tidy engine bay housing the original 225 slant 6cyl motor, with a few minor modifications including Pacemaker headers & Electronic Ignition and topped off with a 350 Holley. This is matted to the original 3 speed column shift manual transmission. At the time of the engine work the diff also underwent a rebuild with less than 5000km put on since then. This car runs and drives smoothly, with nice notes flowing through the full custom exhaust.
Overall this car is extremely solid and presents very well. This VC Valiant makes the perfect turn-key entry level car for those looking to enter the old school car scene or those looking for a hassle free weekend cruiser.
